These colourful uniforms were designed by Emilio Pucci for Braniff International Airways. The uniforms had loud designs and were made into many parts so the stewardesses could mix and match according to their own style.

16-year-old Sue Lyon at the premiere of Stanley Kubrick’s 1962 film of Lolita, based on Nabokov’s infamous book.
The heart-shaped sunglasses that have become so iconic to the Lolita character were worn only in promotional material, never in the film itself.
